White LED bulbs with high efficiency, in a low-power market (such as flashlights, solar garden lights and pedestrian lights, bicycle lights, etc.) have a leading position. Monochrome LED lamps are often used to create traffic lights and holiday lighting.

In the 2010, LED lights became a hot topic in horticulture and agriculture. NASA pioneered the use of LED lights in space, followed by home and commercial interior gardening. Specially designed for these special lamps, the light wave is just the wavelength of chlorophyll absorption, which promotes growth, and also reduces the absorption of light waves by plants, resulting in waste. In the visible spectrum, photosynthesis is only red and blue, so these lights are designed to have both colors. These LEDs provide the same luminosity, no ballast, and much less heat than gas discharge lamps, which are suitable for indoor planting, than similar products. Less heat can reduce the effect of evapotranspiration, thus reducing the number of irrigation. As such, plants are not suitable for excessive irrigation when using these bulbs.
