Hongkong TDC: The Lighting Industry Has A Bright Future In The Coming Year

2018 sales are expected to increase by 16%
Independent survey commissioned by the Hongkong Trade Development Bureau held in autumn and light show and outdoor lighting technology during the Expo, visited 636 exhibitors and buyers. About 95% of the respondents looked at the market performance for the coming year or believed that the average growth in the overall sales of lighting products next year was expected to increase by an average of 16%.
The most optimistic markets to be visited are mainland China, Japan and ASEAN. In emerging markets, the industry's most interested market for business development is mainland China (24%), ASEAN (17%) and the Middle East (7%). In terms of products, the industry considered that home lighting (29%) has the most potential for growth. LED and environmental lighting products (24%) and commercial lighting (16%) are also seen as a high line.
